II.50: Possessed of wisdom, one rejects here both virtue and vice. Therefore, devote yourself to (Karma) Yoga. Yoga is skilfulness in action.

II.51: Because those who are devoted to wisdom, (they) becoming men of enlightenment by giving up the fruits produced by actions, reach the state beyond evils by having become freed from the bondage.

II.52: When your mind will go beyond the turbidity of delusion, then you will acquire dispassion for what has to be heard and what has been heard.

Summary of this lecture:

The Gita points out that we all have the basic tools to reach our Goal because each of us is divine and each of us works. All that we need is to work 'skillfully' that is, work and not get attached. We have to act smart. Work, when properly done, can lead us to ultimate freedom. "Freedom from birth" - Lord Krishna says. 'Birth is generally looked upon as a welcome thing and not as bondage. But birth is just as much a bondage as is death. Foolishly chasing after desires, which, like bottomless pits, remain unfulfilled and we are subject to rebirth over and over again pursuing the impossible. There is a way out and that is through Yoga. Arjuna's mind is thinking 'how long am I to do this Yoga to realize the Goal?' The Lord, sensing the question, nips in the bud this idea of a time-bound Yoga-course'. 'How long?' However long it takes.
