II.16:
Of the unreal there is no being; the real has no non-existence. But
the nature of the both of these, indeed, has been realized by the seers
of Truth.
II.17: But know that to be indestructible by which all this is pervaded.
None can bring about the destruction of this Immutable.

Summary
of this lecture:
We experience 'real' and 'unreal' things in life. What is unreal?
Obviously, if something is then it cannot be 'unreal'. And yet
we say the illusory snake superimposed on the rope or the various shapes
seen or imagined by children on a cloud in the sky or the objects seen
in the dream as 'unreal'. In all these, the perception of name and form
changed but the 'existence' remains. In every perception there are the
two parts one is the name/form and other is-ness. The is-ness never
changes but the form keeps on changing continuously. In fact what we
see is just 'change'. So the conclusion is - the name/form even if perceived
is NEVER real; for the is-ness is not intrinsic to it. That which IS
intrinsically, never changes, never becomes unreal. "That"
Real is all-pervading and is indestructible.
